With Halloween and Exploration Extravaganza falling on the same day, a group of students in grades 3, 4, and 5 built, and designed toothbrush bots in the library! Toothbrush bots are great for teaching students about circuits, energy, as well as engineering and design! We had so much fun.

In honor of Indigenous People's Day, our author of the week is Joseph Bruchac, an Abenaki author and storyteller. He has written over 120 books! Come check the books of his we have here at PCS library!
Trevor found this book about snakes! He was showing me the pictures, and decided he wanted a book that was "a little less scary."

As we end our school year, our friend Emily, the director of the Putney Public Library, came to visit all of the classes this week. She talked to us about the summer reading program going on at the public library this summer! There will be a ton of fun sports related activites as well as cool prizes for participating in the reading program. Make sure to check it out! It sounds like it will be loads of fun!
